Scurrying from one antiques dealer I was beguiled by the skill of the work at hand and perhaps even more beguiled by the prices-(but that’s our secret). To be had turn off the century bed lamps, exquisite wood carved suggestion boxes that one would find at debauched venues (indeed), books on antiques themselves, rustic carvings, quilts, exquisite arm chairs, mugs, plates with the faces of Indians and bygone era figures and motifs intricately molded into them, miniature camels and other fine examples of outside and self taught art (which according to Ms Audrey Heckler is exactly why the work is so priceless and extraordinary).
