SCV: Your pictures depict women as ‘objects’ of mystery, do you agree?

V: Never, women are very mysterious, but they’re definitely not objects.

SCV: What makes the perfect picture for you?

V: To me personally, the image that takes your breath away, for example, closing your eyes and you visualize it in your mind even when you have not seen this image in years.

SCV:  How do you choose your themes?

V: Since I work as a production designer in films, I have a lot of visual input in what’s beauty, no matter what it is, with the right light on the subject, you can make an old shoe look like a million dollar shot. I chose my themes by color, light and angles.

SCV:  What informs your sensibilities?

V: Life in general, anything that can be photographed and exposed to others as beauty.

SCV: Are women sex objects, how about men?

V: Humans love sex, period, but I wouldn’t call any male or female a “Sex Object”…when you see someone you like, you tend to check them out based on the attraction and looks, then comes in the conversation, we are definitely a society of “Coupling”, everyone wants to have a partner in life but the beauty of it all is that no matter if it’s brains or looks; everyone deserves the right to have a partner.

SCV: What’s your next project from here.

V: I’m in talks to take the show to Paris in Mid June, also working with a new company called FASHIONOPOLY, stay tuned for it, it’s going to revolutionize fashion in a big way.
