DJ Erick Lapeau mixed the beats, which had something for everyone, while servers circled the room with complimentary hors d’oeuvres. Having skipped dinner, it was a treat to pop a few crispy truffle oil risotto cakes. Given the options on a Thursday night, it was nice to see that this particular venue was certainly a popular choice for the evening. All in all, the night looked to be a success.
In all seriousness, it goes without saying that what happened in Haiti is a downright tragedy.
