The teen son of a former mayor in Texas was found shot dead multiple times in a residential area, Wednesday, with the case now being investigated as a homicide according to Temple authorities.
Ember Henry, 18, of Salado was identified as the fatal victim, and the son of former Salado mayor Bert Henry, the Temple Police Department stated.
Officers were called to the neighborhood about 9 p.m. Tuesday after reports of gunfire. Officer were unable to locate a crime scene or anyone in need of assistance and exited the area.
What led to former Salado mayor’s teen son shot dead multiple times?
Around 8 a.m. on Wednesday, May 6, officers were dispatched to the area again for an urgent welfare check and located a deceased 18-year-old male who suffered multiple gunshot wounds, KCEN-TV reported.
Police are yet to identify or detain or identify a suspect, or make an arrest or state what may have led up to the teen’s shooting death.
