Possible foul play, Savannah’s mom’s home sits along Mexico border
Today revealed that Customs and Border Patrol have joined sheriff’s deputies in the search for Nancy, whose home sits close to the Mexican border.
Drones and a sheriff’s plane have been deployed to try and track her down. Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said the search for Nancy is still being treated as a search and rescue operation while conceding that the case was now that of foul play.
Speaking to press late Monday morning, Nanos said, ‘As I said yesterday, we saw some things at the home that were concerning to us. We believe now, after we’ve processed that crime scene, that we do, in fact have a crime scene, that we do in fact have a crime and we’re asking the community’s help.’
Adding, ‘She is very limited in her mobility, right? We know she didn’t just walk out of there. We know there are other things at the scene that indicate she did not leave on her own.’
Guthrie is very close to her mother and has appeared on the show alongside her daughter several times through the years. Guthrie’s father Charles died of a heart attack when she was 16-years-old.
She has two older siblings – a sister called Annie and a brother called Camron.
