Renee Nicole Good bodycam video released from ICE agent’s point of views shows Minneapolis mom of 3 and her wife, Rebecca Good taunting agents and refusing to get off the road before shots being fired. New information reveals the pair had stopped intentionally as debate rages over alleged ‘self defense’ fatal shots.
Federal authorities on Friday released cellphone video showing the moments that led to the fatal shooting of a Minneapolis woman by a federal agent amid escalating tensions over the Trump administration’s illegal immigration crackdown in the city.
The video was released two days after a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent, Johnathan ‘Jon’ Ross, 40, fatally shot Renee Nicole Good, 37 as she allegedly drove a vehicle toward officers.
Renee and Rebecca Good caught on video taunting ICE agents
In the video (see below) Renee Good and her wife, Rebecca Good, are seen seemingly taunting law enforcement agents.
The footage taken from an ICE agent’s vantage point shows Good’s Honda Pilot parked in the middle of a residential street, appearing to block traffic.
‘That’s fine, dude,’ Good is heard saying to an agent as they approach. ‘I’m not mad.’
At the same moment, bodycam video shows Rebecca Good filming the ensuing scene on her cellphone. Both women seem intent to remain in place and not accede to federal agents demands to remove themselves from the scene.
Rebecca can be heard taunting ICE officers, demanding that the officers show their faces, and saying, ‘You want to come at us? You want to come at us? I say go get yourself some lunch, big boy.’
The agent walks around the vehicle to check the license plate. Seconds later, another agent walks toward the driver’s side of Good’s vehicle and orders Good to get out.

‘Get out of the car. Get out of the f—— car,’
‘Get out of the car. Get out of the f—— car,’ the agent says while attempting to grab at Good’s steering wheel.
Good then backs up the vehicle before moving it forward in the direction of the agent wearing the body camera who had positioned himself in front of Good’s car. He is heard saying ‘whoa’ before shots ring out.
Good’s vehicle then crashes into a parked car 100 feet down the road. She would be declared dead at the scene shortly after.
In a statement she made on Friday, Rebecca Good confirmed that the couple stopped near law enforcement intentionally: ‘On Wednesday, January 7th, we stopped to support our neighbors. We had whistles. They had guns.’
The circumstances that led to her death have ignited a firestorm of criticism of the Trump administration and the condemnation of the ICE agents’ actions.
Federal officials have said the agents acted in self-defense and labeled the incident an act of domestic terrorism, while Democratic officials have rejected the self-defense assertion. Debate has since ensued as to whether the agent involved had been hit by the fleeing vehicle.
Minneapolis mom revealed to be activist on ICE agent alert missions
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey (D) published an article in the New York Times on Thursday calling President Donald Trump’s claim about the agent — that Renee ‘ran him over’ — was ‘false.’
‘I’ve watched multiple videos, from multiple perspectives — it seems clear that Good was trying to leave the scene, not attack an agent,‘ Frey wrote.
The agent who opened fire was dragged and injured by a fleeing driver in a separate incident last year, and had left him ‘scarred,’ officials said.
Nevertheless despite assertions that the ICE agent was injured, video showed him walking unimpeded immediately after the incident.
Authorities have claimed Good had been following and harassing federal officers earlier that day.
She also worked as a Minneapolis-based immigration activist serving as a member of ‘ICE Watch,’ federal sources told Fox News.
Homeland Security sources told Fox News the group aims to monitor, track, interfere and oppose ongoing federal immigration enforcement operations. The group is present in multiple sanctuary cities across the country.
Since settling in Minneapolis over the recent year, Good had befriended the parents at a ‘woke’ charter school where her own child was enrolled, becoming involved in ‘ICE Watch Warrior’ missions.
