Shireen Afkari Strava employee fired after San Francisco drunken debacle accompanied by male companion physically and verbally assaults staff and patron as the internet dishes out karma.
A woman captured in viral video going on a booze rampage tirade at a San Francisco restaurant-bar, including taunting and harassing staff has been fired her employer has confirmed.
Shireen Afkari, 32, was filmed taunting and assaulting staff at Hazie’s leading to a bartender body slamming the unhinged woman in ‘self defense’ only for her to trip and land on her face on the sidewalk moments later after being ‘escorted’ outside the San Francisco eatery.
Unhinged woman caught on viral video identified
The episode which took place in the Hayes Valley neighborhood over the weekend led to outrage and demands for the woman’s identity and calls for her ouster. Resourceful social media users identified the woman, outing her to her employer leading to the marketing manager for fitness app Strava being fired, KRON reported.
According to the outlet, officers arrived on the scene at 9:41 p.m. Saturday after Afkari, who was accompanied by a male companion (since identified as Christian Bruchman, 33 and thought to be her partner) being dragged out of the restaurant after taking a swing at staff, entering a restricted area and violently knocking a phone out of a patron’s hands.
‘He’s f—ing harassing me,’ Afkari shouted at a bartender off camera before the unhinged woman being hauled outside by Miguel Marchese, a staffer who later shared video of the incident on Instagram.
‘Ooooh, he’s a liar.’
Leftists are so racist.

Drunken night out is for hangovers, internet karma is for keeps
Afkari was arrested for public drunkenness and sent to county jail. But there was more more to come.
‘We are aware of an employee who exhibited extremely concerning off-hours behavior. We don’t condone violence of any kind and this does not reflect the standards we expect of our team,’ Afkari’s employer, Strava wrote in an Instagram comment. ‘This past Monday, we made the decision to end the individual’s employment.’
A regard of Afkari’s (since scrubbed) Linkedin profile revealed her to have previously worked for Credit Karma. Afkari to date has declined to publicly address the debacle or issue an apology for her behavior. Or to absorb the painful lesson in today’s social media whirlwind, any hint of bad or controversial behavior, comments or actions can galvanize the internet and dish out cosmic karma.
