Stephanie Jensen, Fond du Lac teacher’s aide in Wisconsin charged with having sex with minor victim.
A former Wisconsin teacher’s aide is accused of sexually assaulting a teen boy whom the educator began flirting with when the alleged victim was just 12 years old.
Following her arrest last week, Stephanie Jensen, 41, according to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office, was charged with the following offenses; child enticement (2 counts), sexual assault of a child and sexual intercourse with a child (3 counts).
Jensen according to investigators became ‘flirty’ with the child while she worked as a second-grade classroom aide at the Faith Lutheran School in Fond du Lac. At the time, the victim was in eight grade at the school.
Fond du Lac teacher’s aide admits sending nude images but denies having sex with minor victim
A criminal complaint filed on Monday described the victim telling police that shortly before his 16th birthday, in September 2024, he had sex with Jensen. The boy said he remembered because it had been right before he obtained his driver’s license, WBAY reported.
The victim said he had sex with Jensen several times, and that she sent him nude photos via Snapchat.
‘Victim 1 mentioned Stephanie JENSEN was not only sending him nude pictures, but that she was sending his buddies nude content as well,’ the complaint read.
‘Victim 1 said word travelled throughout his friend group that she was willing to share so people he knew would add her to see what she would share with them.’
Along with illicit photos, the teacher’s aide admitted sending correspondences to the minor that was sexual in nature.
Abuse of position of authority, trust and power
On the day of her arrest, November 4, while questioned by detectives, Jensen denied the allegations, but reportedly admitted to sending the teen nude photos of herself.
While trying to arrest Jensen, she refused to get up from her couch, claiming, ‘I am not under arrest.’ A detective lifted her up by the arm and handcuffed her.
Jensen’s Fond du Lac employer confirmed Monday that they had fired the errant educator.
Read a statement released from Principal Benjamin Rank: ‘Faith Lutheran School has terminated the employment of Stephanie Jensen upon formal charges being filed in court on Monday.
‘The faculty, staff, and administration at Faith are committed to the safety and care of our students, staff, families, and community. We pray for all who are affected by these events as we continue to put our faith and trust in the Lord.’
A judge handed down a $200,000 cash bond and ordered Jensen to not contact the victim, or any other minors. The court also ordered her to refrain from social media.
She’s expected back in court Tuesday.
