Define estranged….? A Florida woman is facing animal abuse charges after her husband found video of his wife in what appeared to be the woman ’s*xually’ engaging with the family dog.
Malia Nummerdor, 38, of Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda, Fl., was arrested on Sept.15 according to a release from the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office.

Husband Erik across video of wife ‘engaging’ family dog
Prior to her arrest, Malia’s husband, Erik Nummerdor, posted on Facebook on Sept. 11, saying he had security camera footage of Nummerdor ‘engaging’ in dodgy activities with their dog.
Yes kids, this is the marriage from hell and Erik was going to publicly air the ‘dirty’ laundry….
According to Gulf Coast News, Nummerdor’s husband installed two security cameras inside the family’s home — not because he suspected animal abuse, but because money had allegedly been disappearing from a coin jar. The husband further insisted that the presence of the cameras was known to everyone in the home.
But it was soon after that the husband came across what he believed to be incriminating video of his ‘estranged’ wife ‘engaging’ the family dog.
On Sept. 14, Erik spoke with deputies where he presented footage and consented to giving the sheriffs full access to his laptop.

Port Charlotte wife denies alleged ‘acts’ with dog
Noted an arrest affidavit: ‘I reviewed the images and observed an adult female, identified by Erik as Malia, nude from the waist down, positioned with the dog in a manner consistent with s*xual activity.’
Deputies conducted a recorded interview with Nummerdor on Tuesday, Sept. 15 where she acknowledged that she had been with the family dog in the video footage while denying ‘engaging’ in s*xual contact with the animal. She reportedly told officers she had merely been ‘petting the dog.’
But had she?
Deputies stated that during the interview, Nummerdor was not able to justify her actions from the footage and gave answers they considered contradictory.
Authorities allege she appeared impaired and acknowledged she was under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, the affidavit states.
As the interview continued, Nummerdor stated that she wanted to conclude the interview and requested an attorney.

Port Charlotte wife alleges husband previously threatening her with the videos
During further questioning, Malia claimed Erik had installed cameras without her knowledge and had accessed her social‑media accounts to post images and videos, according to the affidavit. She stated the recordings were made in 2024 and that Erik had previously threatened her with the videos.
Nummerdor was subsequently taken into custody and booked into the Charlotte County Jail.
Following her arrest, Malia Nummerdor was charged with s*xual contact with an animal, a 2nd-degree felony under Florida law.
Malia currently remains held on bond of $35,000.
Florida Statute § 828.126(1) defines ‘s*xual contact with an animal’ as an act committed between a person and an animal for the purpose of s*xual gratification, abuse, or financial gain…’
