Unconfirmed reports rampant on social media allege that a Tipp City, Ohio husband and father of two may have shot his wife of 16 years dead as a result of an ongoing extramarital affair he was alleged to have been having within the family’s church.
Caleb Carl Flynn, 39, was on Thursday arrested and charged with the slaying of Ashley Flynn after previously stating that a ‘home invasion’ led to the Christian mom of two being fatally shot as the woman’s husband and two kids slept.

Following his arrest, Caleb Flynn a former American Idol contestant and music pastor was charged with one count of homicide, two counts of felonious assault, and two counts of tampering with evidence, WHIO reported.
Come Friday, bond was issued at $2 million as Caleb Flynn pled not guilty to the charges against him, WDTN reported.
Authorities found probable cause to charge Caleb with murder; however, specific investigative details were not released due to the ongoing investigation according to Tipp City Police Chief Greg Adkins.

Of disconcert are alleged texts that the shooter is alleged to have sent in the hours prior to Ashley’s murder just on 2.30 a.m, Monday morning according to leaked court documents.
At 12:42 a.m.—less than two hours before the fatal shooting—Caleb allegedly texted an unidentified woman: ‘It’s almost done.’
A social media group dedicated to discussing the murder of Ashley Flynn, identified the unidentified woman as being to Caleb’s 23-year-old lover, Alleigha Botner who he met at his husband and wife’s church, Christian Life Center at Dayton Ohio.
Stated the post in part captioned with a photo of Botner, ‘This is apparently the young woman Caleb Flynn was having an affair with. Like him, she is a worship leader at the church. Her name is Alleigha Botner. She and Caleb would sing and worship on stage together, all while allegedly committing adultery and lying through their teeth.’
The thread further alleges Ashley Flynn sending a text in which she purportedly confided, ‘I can’t anymore.’

According to alleged leaked court documents, investigation highlights included the recovery of deleted messages allegedly confirming a months-long extramarital relationship.
Investigators further noted ‘heavy communication’ between Caleb and the other woman that intensified right before the crime according to alleged leaked court documents.
