Daniel Siad, French model agent who arranged young women to meet convicted sexual predator, Jeffrey Epstein found dead amid questions of whether scout was aware and complicit of supplying victims to influential millionaire with ties to moneyed class. Cause of death pending autopsy. Promoter was under investigation prior to death.

Did he escape justice? French model scout who arranged for models to meet convicted sexual predator, Jeffrey Epstein has been found dead in his suburban Paris home.

An autopsy is expected to determine how Daniel Siad died, according to France’s Le Monde Journal, who reported the discovery occurring Monday night. Siad was 69.

Siad’s attorney, Marie-Celine Lawrysz who believes her client died of a heart attack stated it will have been because of ‘anxiety he suffered every day’ over inquiries into his ties to the sex offender who died in jail while awaiting trial in 2019.

Who was French model agent and was he instrumental in funneling victims?

Siad was one of several French men accused of helping the convicted sex offender to traffic and abuse women.

Department of Justice investigators determined that Epstein paid thousands of dollars to Siad, whose name appears just on 2000 times in the department’s Epstein Library.

Siad used his connections in the fashion industry to accommodate the influential millionaire who had convictions linked to sexual exploitation as far back in the early 2000’s. Epstein had ties to powerful figures including former President Bill Clinton, the British Royal formerly known as Prince Andrew and Donald Trump before he became president.

According to French media, at least five women accused Siad, 69, of rape and human trafficking going back as far as the early 90’s. Siad denied all allegations against him.

Did French model scout escape justice?

Paris prosecutors who’ve been investigating Siad since February reportedly intend to continue looking into his possible involvement in human trafficking and criminal conspiracy. They hadn’t found sufficient grounds to arrest him prior to his death.

Former Swedish model Ebba Karlsson, now in her fifties, filed the first complaint against Siad in February, accusing him of raping her when she was 20.

‘It’s very frustrating,’ Karlsson told AFP. ‘He was very close to be arrested. We worked so hard for this, trying to have justice’.

Naive relations or complicit orchestrator?

Two women told CNN that they were harmed by Epstein after being referred to him by Siad, who claimed no one he introduced to the financier complained to him. He also said he was under the impression Epstein was a casting director with influence at Victoria’s Secret. CNN has found no evidence to back that claim.

‘He was such a powerful person, how can I not trust him?’ Siad reflected in a June interview.

Siad maintained that Epstein had deceived him and that he had no reason to know the sex offender ‘was dangerous’.

Nevertheless, Said stated he was aware Epstein was was charged with soliciting prostitution in 2008, but believed the matter had been resolved. The pair remained acquaintances after Epstein was released from jail in July 2009.

Siad told French broadcaster BFM in May that his relationship with Epstein was strictly professional, NBC News reported.
