A former high school teacher has managed the remarkable, getting to eat her cake and still getting to have it too, after her lawyer husband forgave her and took her back after she cheated on him with one of her teen student victims.
McKenna Kindred, a then 23 year old teacher who previously taught at Central Valley High School in Spokane Valley, Washington, confessed in March 2024 to sneaking her 17-year-old teen lover into the married couple’s home and having sex with the boy while her husband, Kyle Kindred, was away on hunting trips.

Despite the betrayal, Kyle has stuck by his wife’s side, refusing to divorce the former teacher, with the couple moving into a brand new home together in Idaho, the Daily Mail reported.
The pair previously lived in a $1 million home in a rural area south of Spokane, where Kyle’s parents were listed as the owners, but jointly bought a four bedroom house in Kuna, Idaho, for $498,000 in June 2024 — three months the sexual predator female teacher sobbed in court as she pleaded guilty to the sex crimes, according to property records reviewed by the outlet.
The duped husband, Kyle according to the dailymail has worked as a real estate lawyer at Holland & Hart in Boise since Aug. 2024.
His profile on the firm’s website describes him as an ‘avid outdoorsman, fly fisherman, college basketball fanatic.’
Spokane teacher began reaching out to student victim via social media
The illicit teacher student relationship led to McKenna being forced to resign from the Spokane Valley high school where she taught. She was probed by the Idaho Standards Commission over her teaching license, which she voluntarily gave up in response.
The teacher’s inappropriate relationship with the 17-year-old student began in June 2022, when the minor discovered her Instagram account and the two began messaging each other, prosecutors said according to KXLY.
Sometime in November of that year, McKenna and her student victim had sex inside her home while her husband was on a hunting trip.
The teen’s friends shared screenshots of the racy messages with school officials in December 2022 as rumors about the relationship began to spread around the school.
‘I wanted you to be in my room,’ one of the messages stated. ‘When other girls talk about you in my class I could feel myself getting mad,’ read another text.
Abuse of power, trust and authority
‘I really like being touched by you,’ the former educator texted the teen.
During police investigations, the teen victim stated having sex with the teacher at her home along with stating that the pair exchanged explicit videos.
Told a weeping McKenna during court proceeding, ‘As a result of my actions, I’ve lost my career, valuable friendships, freedoms and have let down countless people who placed their trust in me.’
The sexual predator was sentenced to jail avoided jail and was sentenced to 2 years probation after pleading guilty to sexual misconduct and handed $700 in fines and fees and ordered to register as a sex offender for 10 years.
