

Julie Anne Sanetra, Irvine, California woman murdered at the hands of her boyfriend, Daniel Allen Aldrich, who then stuffs her body in a trash can outside his home before being arrested at a relative’s home hours after the body’s discovery.
A Costa Mesa, California man is alleged to have killed his girlfriend before then stuffing her body in a trash can which was later found in the backyard of the man’s home, according to police.
Officers responded to a home in the 1900 block of Maple Avenue around 2:25 p.m, Tuesday afternoon on a report of a body found in the backyard.
Julie Anne Sanetra, 39, of Irvine was determined to be the victim, Eyewitness News reported.
The suspect’s boyfriend, 49-year-old Daniel Allen Aldrich, was arrested later that day at a relative’s home in Glendale, officials said.
Authorities declined to say who called them to the murder scene and what led up to the woman’s slaying along with how the man came to be tracked down and arrested.
Detectives were able to establish that the arrestee and the victim were in a relationship leading up to the boyfriend’s arrest the Costa Mesa Police Department said in a Facebook release.
Of note, KTLA reported that the Glendale home was linked to the suspect’s Costa Mesa residence.
Responding to the discovery of the body in the dumpster, Orange County locals expressed shock, including one neighbor who said, ‘there’s never a problem around here. Never had any type of violence.’
Said another, ‘It’s quiet, everybody is nice.
‘This is like a big deal.’
The case now goes to the Orange County District Attorney to consider charges against Aldrich.
