Colt Gray’s father, Colin bought his son a high velocity AR-15 rifle to make a man out of his son according to relative following accusations the father ongoing emasculated his own son, calling him ‘sissy’, ‘p—y,’ and bitch…

A report has told of the father of of accused Georgia school shooter Colt Gray buying him a high velocity AR-15 rifle (ultimately used in last week’s school shooting which killed four) after coming to the belief that he needed to tough up his 14 year old ‘sissy’ son and ‘make a man of him.’

According to a relative, Colin Gray gave his troubled son the assault rifle for Christmas — the weapon that Colt ended up using in last Wednesday’s bloodbath at Apalachee High School that left two teens and two teachers dead after believing the boy was ‘too gentle’.

Along with accusations at school that the teen was gay, leading to the teen gunman being allegedly constantly bullied, it was the father’s own view of his son that was most troubling the relative told the nypost.

Dad would break down ‘sissy’ son

‘He would call Colt names to his face,’ said a relative of Colt’s mother, Marcee Gray. ‘Names that no boy wants to hear: sissy, p—y, bitch… just names that were meant to break him down and emasculate him.’

The relative added: ‘Colin always thought that Colt was too gentle and tender. That’s why I believe he gave him the rifle.’

According to a previous social media post, the father had expressed it ‘was the proudest day of his life,’ when sharing an image of his then 13 year old son with blood on his face following a day deer hunting with the boy.

Months later the then 13 year old was investigated by the FBI following allegations of having shared missives online that he was preparing a mass school shooting. A claim that the boy denied along with the father having joked about, with authorities warning Colin Gray to keep weapons away from his teen son while unsupervised- only to buy the troubled teen a high velocity weapon for Christmas mere months later.

Transcripts during the FBI investigation revealed the father saying, ‘Colt’s gay.’

Adding, ‘He’s going through a lot. He just wants us to have a simple life. It was very difficult for him to go to school and not get picked on.’

Colt is charged with four counts of murder and will be tried as an adult over last week’s carnage that left two students and two teachers dead, prosecutors said.

He faces up to life in prison if convicted.

Colin, 54, was also arrested in the aftermath of the shooting.

He has been charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter, two counts of second-degree murder and eight counts of cruelty to children in the second degree.

If he’s convicted of all charges, Colin faces up to 180 years in prison.

‘He’s evil,’ Charles Polhamus, the 14-year-old alleged gunman’s maternal grandfather, told the nypost over the weekend. ‘Spending 11 years with that son of a bitch screaming and hollering every day — it can affect anybody.’

Adding, ‘He was a good kid turned bad in a bad situation.’
