Colt Gray shot up school, killing 4, cause he was bullied for being gay according to the teen gunman’s father, Colin Gray in new revelations.

In a bombshell revelation, the father of alleged Apalachee High School shooter, Colin Gray has claimed his son, Colt, was bullied by classmates who called him gay according to an interview the parent gave last year.

Colin Gray, 54, made the claims when he was interviewed by the Jackson County Sheriff’s office after the FBI received a tip that his then 13 year old son had threatened a shooting at his middle school.

‘It was very difficult for him to go to school and not get picked on,’ Colin Gray told an investigator, according to a transcript of the conversation cited by the dailymail.

Best day ever was seeing son shoot dead dear

The father added: ‘It went from one thing to another… I was trying to get him on the golf team… [they were like] Oh, look, Colt’s gay. He’s dating that guy. Just ridiculed him day after day after day.’

The revelations come as Colin Gray, 14, is charged as an adult in the deaths of two classmates, Mason Schermerhorn and Christian Angulo, both 14, and two teachers, Richard Aspinwall, 39, and Cristina Irimie, 53. Nine people were also hurt in Wednesday’s attack at Apalachee High school in Winder, outside of Atlanta.

Speaking to police in May, 2023, Colin said he had recently separated from his son’s mother, and that ‘she took his younger two’ kids, leaving him to care for Colt, who he said was struggling at Jefferson Middle School.

The father said Colt ‘gets flustered and under pressure,’ and ‘doesn’t really think straight.’

Colin added that he was trying to teach his son about weapons and get him interested in the outdoors in order to ‘get him away from those video games.’

He showed the officer a picture of Colt with blood smeared on his face and said it was from when the teen shot his first deer, which the father described as the ‘best day ever.’

Dad wanted to make a man out of his son!

‘He knows the seriousness of weapons and what they can do, and how to use them and not use them,’ Colin Gray said according to a transcript obtained from the sheriff’s office.

The father claimed he and his son talked about school shootings ‘quite a bit,’ adding that ‘you never really know and I don’t want anything to happen to him.’

Colin reportedly assured officers that he would be ‘mad as hell’ if he learned the allegations about his son making threats were true, and that ‘all the guns [would] go away.’

Except they didn’t. Instead the father just a few months later went and bought his teen son a high velocity AR-15 rifle for Christmas that was allegedly used during Wednesday’s mass school shooting- this despite the parent being previously warned to keep all weapons away from the son following allegations the boy was planning on carrying out a school shooting.

The revelations come as both father and son appeared, one after the other, Friday morning at Barrow Court Supreme Court where they each face a series of murder charges, (the father is now being held responsible for his son’s actions) that if convicted will see the 14 year old spend the rest of his life behind bars without the chance of parole while the 54 year old father would be sentenced to a possible maximum of 180 years behind bars.
