Last Week in Sports Betting: A wrap up of results in NFL, the NBA along with NCAAF as teams played to their odds favorites of winning.

Week 16 started on Thursday with the Titans beating the 49ers 20-17. Since the 49ers lost, the Dallas Cowboys clinched a playoff berth. 

The games continued on Christmas. The Green Bay Packers beat the Cleveland Browns 24-22. Then, the Indianapolis Colts beat the Arizona Cardinals 22-16. 

In the early slate of Sunday’s games, the Atlanta Falcons beat the Detroit Lions 20-16. 

The Los Angeles Rams beat the Minnesota Vikings 30-23. That win helped themselves and the Cardinals sneak into the playoffs. 

The New York Jets beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 26-21. 

In an NFC East Rival, the Philadelphia Eagles beat the New York Giants 34-10. The Buffalo Bills gave the New England Patriots a 33-21 beating.  

These next two teams who played at 1 pm scored 41 points in their win. The Cincinnati Bengals beat the Baltimore Ravens 41-21. The Texans beat the Chargers 41-29. 

Finally, Tom Brady and the Buccaneers beat the Panthers 32-6. Along with the Cowboys, Rams, Cardinals, and Packers, the Bucs have also clinched a playoff berth.

The Washington Football Team were the underdogs for their game against the Dallas Cowboys. They ended up at +330 on the money line, so if one were to bet $100, they’d profit $330 if the team won. 

The New Orleans Saints host the Miami Dolphins to close out the second to last week of the regular season. Surprisingly, they are the underdogs as well. On the money line, their odds are +135.

Week 10 of the NBA (Dec. 20-26)

The NBA is becoming exciting as it gets closer to the All-Star break. The Philadelphia 76ers came out victorious on Monday as they beat the Boston Celtics 108-103.

Other wins on that day consisted of the Chicago Bulls’ 133-118 win over the Houston Rockets, Oklahoma City Thunder’s 102-99 win over the Memphis Grizzlies, the Utah Jazz 112-102 win over the Charlotte Hornets, the Golden State Warriors 113-98 win over the Sacramento Kings, and the San Antonio Spurs 116-92 win over the Los Angeles Clippers. 

Tuesday’s wins consisted of the Miami Heat’s 125-96 win over the Indiana Pacers, the New York Knicks 105-91 win over the Detroit Pistons, the New Orleans Pelicans 11-97 win over the Portland Trailblazers, the Dallas Mavericks 114-102 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, and the Phoenix Suns 108-90 win over the Los Angeles Lakers. 

Wednesday’s wins consisted of the Magic’s 104-98 win over the Atlanta Hawks, the Celtics 111-101 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Milwaukee Bucks’ 126-106 win over the Rockets, the Thunder’s 108-94 win over the Denver Nuggets, and the Clippers 105-89 win over the Kings. 

On Thursday, the Indiana Pacers beat the Rockets 118-106. The Pelicans beat the Magic 110-104, and the Hawks beat the 76ers in a close game – 98-96. 

The Heat and Pistons game was also close. The Heat came out on top 115-112. 

The Washington Wizards beat the Knicks in a come-from-behind 124-117 win. 

The Bucks beat the Mavericks 102-95. The Hornets beat the Nuggets 115-107. 

The Suns defeated the Thunder 113-101. 

The Utah Jazz beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 128-116. 

The Warriors defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 113-104. 

Then, the San Antonio Spurs beat the Los Angeles Lakers 138-110. 

No games were scheduled on Friday for Christmas Eve. However, five games were played on Christmas. The Knicks beat the Hawks 101-86. The Bucks beat the Celtics 117-113. The Warriors defeated the Suns 116-107. The Brooklyn Nets beat the Lakers 122-115. Finally, the Utah Jazz beat the Mavericks 120-116. 

The Detroit Pistons were underdogs against the San Antonio Spurs, who they faced on Sunday night. Their odds were +400. The Indiana Pacers were underdogs against the Chicago Bulls as well. Their odds for Sunday night’s game were +210.

NCAAF

College football is also exciting to bet on.
