Maya Millete missing Chula Vista California woman blamed husband, Larry, if anything should happen to her as mom of three remains unaccounted since early January.

A California mother of three who’s been missing since early January reportedly delivered an ominous warning to family members days before her disappearance — blaming her husband if anything should happen to her.

‘If anything happened to me, it would be Larry,’ Maya Millete of Chula Vista told relatives during an early January camping trip, referring to her husband, Larry Millete, a family member told Fox News.

Maya ‘May’ Millete vanished days later on Jan. 7 after scheduling an appointment with a divorce lawyer, according to family attorney, Billy Little.

The Chula Vista Police Department has not found any evidence of foul play in Maya’s disappearance. Detectives have said there are currently no persons of interest in the investigation.

‘We certainly have people who remain crucial witnesses to her disappearance,’ police spokesman Eric Thunberg told Fox News.

‘He just sounded desperate …’

‘We are in frequent communication with our regional partners about this case and are working to identify evidence, locate it, analyze it and follow where it leads,’ Thunberg said.

Larry initially speculated that Maya had left Chula Vista to get some alone time. He has since stopped cooperating with police, officials said.

Maya’s brother-in-law, Richard Drouaillet, who was on the camping trip, told Fox News that Larry would blame Maya for their marital troubles.

‘He just sounded desperate, you know, ‘You gotta listen to me. It’s her fault, it’s her fault,” Drouaillet said Larry told him in a phone call late last summer.

‘He was more of an aggressor, trying to get us involved,’ Drouaillet said. ‘He was trying to get us on his side, when we felt like it was a lot of lies that he was telling us.’

Richard’s wife, Maricris who was also on the camping trip told NBC7 that Larry and Maya engaged in ‘a lot of arguments’ on the trip.

‘We felt sometimes uncomfortable about it, too,’ Maricris said. ‘But you know, we were just praying and hoping they would be able to work it out. We didn’t see this coming, you know, after that.’

Maya is described as being 5’2′ and 105lbs with brown hair. She has tattoos of musical notes on her clavicle and a tattoo of a hummingbird on her back.
