Matthias Ajple MAGA hat spitting assault: Florida man arrested after setting upon Robert Youngblood at Vero Beach restaurant. Caught on video.
A Florida man has been filmed assaulting and spitting on a fellow restaurant patron wearing a MAGA hat.
Matthias Ajple, 43, was arrested and charged with battery for the Oct. 25 attack at Hurricane Grill & Wings in Vero Beach, WPEC reports.
The man’s arrest follows Ajple being caught on surveillance video walking around the bar and telling fellow patron, Robert Youngblood, 67, ‘You should go back to Russia, you f–king communist.’
Ajple is filmed smacked the head of Youngblood, who was wearing a red ‘Make America Great Again’ hat.
‘It was stunning,’ Youngblood, who was sitting with two pals at the bar, told via WPEC. ‘We all went ‘what the heck just happened?’’

‘I will never stop wearing my hat that I believe represents what I believe,’
Ajple is seen re appearing from behind a railing and spitting directly onto Youngblood.
Ajple then fled in his car, but not before Youngblood managed to jot down the suspect’s license plate number.
Authorities tracked Ajple down and charged him with battery.
Youngblood maintains the attack won’t deter him from wearing his hat out in public.
‘I will never stop wearing my hat that I believe represents what I believe,’ he told WPEC.
The incident is but the latest in a slew of assaults and filmed ‘episodes’ of MAGA hat wearing patrons being set upon by supposedly their more ‘more liberal’ and ‘open minded’ cultural and political opponents.
