Areicia Hill wakes up to find Elizabeth Hixon Columbus Ohio home intruder preparing a bath for her two year old toddler son.
An Ohio woman has told of her ‘horror’ upon discovering an intruder inside her home preparing a bath for her 2-year-old son, according to a report.
Areica Hill said she woke up to find another woman, Elizabeth Hixon, 22, in her Columbus home on Wednesday trying to give her son a bath, WCMH-TV reported.
‘I get up and I walk to my door and the way my house is set up, I can look down the hall,’ Hill said. ‘I see a white female lady, bent over the tub, with my 2-year-old in the tub.’
Hill said she got the woman away from her child with her boyfriend restraining the stranger until authorities arrived.
‘I’ve never heard of anything like this,’ Hill reiterated.
‘Ms. Hixon stated that she entered the residence, to provide care to a juvenile, which was outside the residence,’ an affidavit in the case, filed in Franklin County Municipal Court, reads.
Hixon, has since been arrested and charged with burglary.
The woman was released after posting bond in Franklin County Municipal Court.
Hixon’s mother told the TV station that her daughter had ‘good intentions,‘ and that ‘her heart was in the right place.’
To which the mother responded, ‘I would like to see other charges filed against her,’ Hill said.
