Valerie Branch-Galloway: Florida woman charged with domestic battery after whipping her stepson with leather belt after coming home 30 minutes past midnight curfew.

A Florida woman has been arrested after whipping her 26-year-old stepson with a leather belt after the man arrived home 30 minutes past his midnight curfew.

Valerie Branch-Galloway, 42, was charged with domestic battery following the incident at her Largo residence in the early hours of Thursday morning.

Local10.com reported Branch-Galloway calling the man at midnight demanding to know why he hadn’t returned to the property by his 12 AM deadline.

And here’s the kicker kids. Pay attention.

When the stepson eventually returned, half an hour later, Branch-Galloway is alleged to have given the un-named victim an ultimatum – she could tell his father that he had violated curfew or he could take ‘licks’ from a leather belt.

So much for ultimatums. Which brand of humiliation would you pick?

The step-mom is accused of whipping the 26 year old man 11 times on the buttocks before he pleaded with the woman to stop.

However, Branch-Galloway continued to lash her stepson a further 19 times, leaving him with bruising on his body.

Why decline?

During police questioning, Branch-Galloway confessed to whipping the man, while denying he’d ever asked her to stop. Cause he was having too much of a good time?

Of note, a police report described bruising on the man’s ‘lower right back and hip area’ when they arrested the woman.

Branch-Galloway has been the male’s step-mother for 13 years. However, he only returned to the Largo home to live with her and his father three months ago.

The step-mother was released from prison on a $2500 bond and is due to return to court.

It remains unclear if the step son will continue living with his father and his wife.
