Terry Lee Coursey a Jacksonville, Clay High School teacher is arrested after assaulting a parent who turned up to baseball practice while wearing short shorts.
Also making her tabloid sweepstakes appearance is 37 year old, Jacksonville, Florida teacher, Terry Lee Coursey after attacking a mother at a children’s baseball game on Friday.
News4Jax reported the Clay High School teacher in Green Cove Springs taking ‘exception’ after a parent turned up to practice while wearing ‘short shorts’.
The ‘incident’ led to the victim being ‘repeatedly’ punched in the face.
Following the woman’s arrest, Terry Coursey was suspended pending an ‘investigation’.
It was not believed a dress uniform policy being in place.
Online court records revealed Coursey pleading no guilty to a first degree misdemeanor charge of simple battery.

The incident occurred February 23 around 7pm during a Little League practice at the Orange Park Athletic Association baseball fields on Fromhart Street.
Apparently Coursey criticized a mother who had come to watch practice for wearing ‘short shorts’ to the practice, according to the arrest report.
The victim said Coursey began attacking her and repeatedly punched her in the face before tackling her.
The victim had a cut on her right wrist, marks on her shoulder, elbow and chest, with visible bruises on the her forearms reported firstcoastnews.
Coursey, who originally hails from Mesquite, Texas spoke to the police the next day about the incident, however the content of that conversation was not in her arrest report.
The suspended teacher is scheduled for an arraignment hearing March 12.
