Barbara Emily Lowery love triangle gone wrong: How a love sick Alabama woman’s emotions got the better of her. Video of vandalism goes viral.
Also making her way into the tabloid sweepstakes is 24 year old Cullman County, Alabama woman, Barbara Emily Lowery who was arrested by cops after stomping on a purported love interest’s car.
Matters first came to the fore late Monday morning when Lowery was filmed by a witnesses stomping out the windshields of Nick Myrick’s car in the parking lot of local furniture store, Badcock Furniture.
The sudden spate of fit led to the car owner’s entire windshield being smashed.
Told Lowery via WBMA: ‘I prayed about it first, and I slept on it, and I decided it wasn’t a good idea,’
Adding, ’Then I saw a shovel’.
The end result saw Lowery being booked on charges of disorderly conduct. That said if the purported love interest decides to press charges, Lowery may also face criminal mischief charges as well.
While cops said they didn’t know what necessarily motivated the
love struck woman, an anonymous source said it had something to do with a love triangle gone wrong. Which is to say most love triangles invariably always end up going wrong.
Explained Lowery who confessed that the vehicle’s owner was an ‘old friend’: ‘Well I’m not trying to give his personal business out like that,’
‘I already knew going into it that I would have to face some consequences, and you know it kind of sucks, but like I said I prayed about it and stuff, and I did it anyway.’
Sources went on to say that the owner of the car was unaware of Lowery’s ‘affections’. If not then, perhaps now….
Since being uploaded on youtube’s, Lowery’s Monday afternoon fun afternoon episode has been viewed more than 100,000 times.
‘I was actually holding a baby in Subway and saw this woman swinging a shovel and then she went to stomping on it and screaming and hollering,’ said Scott Sams who filmed Lowery’s breakdown via Cullman Times.
Adding, ‘That’s when I went out and started shooting the video. I didn’t know what else she might do.’
At the time of the vandalizing Myrick was working nearby.
In response to the incident, Sams bought Myrick a new windshield.. Sams owns a flourishing local car repair business.
Explained Sams: ‘We’re blessed and we do our best to try and help people when we can,’
Adding, ‘He was at work trying to make a living and that happens to him when he’s trying to make money so we’re just trying to do our part to help him out.’
Myrick responded with gratitude.
‘The car was originally my granddad’s and he had given it to my dad, who passed away last July,’ Myrick said. ‘Then my granddad passed away just a few weeks ago. The car means a lot to me. That’s really cool what Mr. Sams is doing to replace the windshield.’
No word yet whether Myrick and Lowery have mended fences and whether the ‘old friends’ may have a future ahead of them. And how…
