Barbie just wants to confess she had a rough day yesterday…

Barbie was just wasn't in the mood last night... Never mind daddy wont be bothering us today...

Isn’t it time you challenged stereotypes too? Barbie- for the demon woman in you…on sale at all participating vendors. Men not allowed…

Says Mariel Clayton who arranged the series upon reflection of what compelled her:

‘Because I hate Barbie. I intensely dislike the stereotype that the “ideal” female fits no current authentic female form. You can’t get to be Barbie without an ocean’s worth of peroxide, 27 plastic surgeries and a complete lack of intelligence, so it irritates me immensely that this is the toy of choice women give to their daughters to emulate. Behind the vacuous perpetual lipsticked-smile lurks the black heart of the true sociopath, just like in real life’.

Women sociopaths at heart or just preconditioned to be benign dolls? (Literally). Barbie giving it back to the man…and how!

Finally- I get to unleash the real me! Don't ever tell me to never talk back to you ever again Fred!
Look- what daddy brought us!
Bare foot and pregnant? I don't think so Fred.
Ugh, look at the mess you made Fred!
Finlly we get to eat out without daddy Trish...
Fred, you wont be cheating on me again that's for sure.
Fred, there you go again making a scene in front of the kids...

  1. Mariel Clayton, I’m sorry but I really don’t get you. When I was a kid, I played with G.I. Joe dolls and most of my “play” involved attacking, killing or blowing something up. Now, I’m grown up and most people would describe me as a teddy bear. The problem is not the Barbie doll. The problem is that you IDENTIFY TOO MUCH WITH A DOLL. Get some balance, please.

  2. Rough day? She looks deliriously happy living amid severed heads and blood guts and just generally making a mess of things. Reminds me of someone I used to work with.
