The makeup was a vivid coral lip under a dramatic smoky eye. It was, to quote one of the makeup artists, “a lot of look,” a reoccurring theme this season. But instead of looking heavy-handed, it was countered by slouchy knits, flowing pleated skirts and bright, playful leather pieces.

The color scheme, overall, gave off a 70s university vibe. Maroon, dark orange, navy, and lots of tan. That, along with slouchy socks under oxford high heels and wedges felt like something Ali McGraw would have loved. But the patterns and the silhouettes were pure Arizona bohemian1. Oversized coats, and knits belted over graphic prints with owls and foxes on them completed the untamed picture.
