The overall collection proves that this relatively new-kid-on-the-block has earned his place among Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week’s finest, and very quickly. It’s well deserved, however. Ironically, I ran into Timo on the train platform after viewing the collection, and as we chatted about the collection until our trains arrived; it became apparent that in addition to a genuine talent; Timo also brings a genuine humility to his fashion— a characteristic that makes Timo Weiland’s S/S 2011 collection, if it even could be, that much more beautiful.
