Lyle Thomas. A mix of men’s and women’s looks is unusual in fashion, and Lyle Thomas reminds us why it’s not often done. The menswear was almost flamboyant with a sleeveless top that resembled a blouse, and two looks with prominent suspenders. The ladies looked lovely in 80s-y black lace and a white suit that looked like an updated version of something off the Dynasty set, but the line lacked cohesion. Breakout potential: 4
ImaniLia. These looks had hits at all ends of the fashion spectrum. A burgundy gown impressed the audience, but perhaps was lacking a certain wow-factor that would get it the Hollywood red carpet exposure it needs. Other looks were trendier, with a unique mix of patterns and short, full skirts. One very cool maxi dress mixed patterns and featured a bottom with a surprisingly silhouette, but seemed unfortunately impossible to walk in. Breakout potential: 5
Bottom line- Look out for Artificial Intrigue! Designer Alex Eisenstein appears to have the ambition and vision to make a big splash. Look out for her second line, UnNuage, as well.

I CANT TELL YOU HOW EXCITED IT WAS TO SEE THE WRITE UP AND THE WONDERFUL EXPRESSION OF WORDS..
I FEEL HONORED TO HAVE BEEN A PART OF THE SHOW AND MEETING ALL THE OTHER DESIGNERS AS WELL.
I HOPE THAT OUR PATHS CROSS AGAIN SOON.. ABYBY AI.
