I nearly fell out of my chair while watching Landline TV’s (@landlinetv) video “Tweet Cops” (watcha gonna do when they come for you…) teaching twitter fans that not every situation calls for the opportunity to tweet. Case in point, dates and trips to the restroom.
The “Real-Time Photo of the Year” award went to Janis Krums (@jkrums) for his highly impactful “Miracle on the Hudson” photo demonstrating the power of twitter (uploaded and circulated online via twitter before the story broke on CNN).
At the end of the ceremony, William Shatner (@WilliamShatner) congratulated winners via video and read a handful of tweets from @shitmydadsays. I don’t know if it was because those tweets were so darn funny or because William Shatner was reading them but I am now a “follower”…
