What compels people?
There are many ways to punish or admonish misbehaving children. On the same token there are many different ways to direct ones frustrations as well without resorting to the debilitating task of tying one”s own children with duct tape, hanging them upside down as then posting such pictures on their facebooks accounts. Then again there are also many ways the victims of these individual’s self defeating behavior will have to hopefully one day embrace in order to find the courage to face themselves and the outside world that their parents sought to humiliate them in….
dailymail.co.uk: A couple bound and gagged their young children with duct tape and posted the photos on Facebook, police said today.
The ‘terrified’ two-year-old toddler and 10-month-old baby were pictured online with their mouths, wrists and ankles taped up – and one was shown hanging upside down on an exercise machine.
Parents Frankie Almuina, 20, and Kayla Almuina, 19, were arrested in Coconino County, Arizona, after the sheriff was alerted to the pictures by an anonymous source.

The parents response? It was only a mere joke. Hmm interesting. A longing look at the pictures may have one tempted to throw up in disgust. Such are the type of jokes that this apparently maladjusted couple have inflicted on these two children.
But it gets worse. Bad jokes always get worse…
Around 12 similar photos, some of which were not posted online, were found at the family’s home, north of Williams, Arizona.
Commander Rex Gililand said: He said: ‘The photos showed the children in various stages of being bound, on their beds. Both were hung upside down, one from this exercise contraption.’
Gililand said: ‘I am shocked and horrified and I will tell you that in 30 years in law enforcement in Arizona this is one of the most horrendous things I have ever seen.
Hmm, that does come across as a damning indictment. But then again officer, ‘it was all just a joke! See I’m still laughing my head off even if I am crying violently inside. Isn’t this all too funny officer?
In 2010 teen mother Jayla Hamm was sentenced to 10 days in jail after duct taping her 22-month-old toddler to a wall in her home near Lincoln, Nebraska.
She and her boyfriend Corde Honea,19, taped his wrists, legs and body, taking pictures of the crying child and further taunted him by taping his favourite drinking cup just outside his reach.
One can only wonder what was done to these individuals when they were younger to grow up to inflict such abuse? Perhaps they too were tape ducted and cried violently, a plethora of love ‘just outside of their reach…’
If only people weren’t so hard to understand sometimes….
I apologize and misread your remark of “Nothing happened to these people as children.” as “nothing happened to these people’s children” Dyslexia and distraction make for a bad combination. I was unable to delete my previous remark.
A few years ago a toddler in Tulsa was bound and gagged by a day care worker and died as a result, so the potential for serious harm and death is there. Not to mention the psychological effects of being exposed to torture.
But over all, what type of environment and other dangers are these children being subjected to when they are being raised by imbeciles that exercise such a gross lack in judgement?
I guess you would also argue there is nothing wrong with placing newborn baby on the floor of a car instead of a car seat because if LUCK has it they made it home safely then it’s okay?
Arrest and duct tape these sadistic parents and remove the children from them
immediately.
These parents are not pathetic but are damaged and deranged and are
causing psychological and physical damage to these children who in turn may end
up doing the same to their own kids some day and the cycle of perverse abusive
dysfunction continues.
Also, remove these offensive photos of tortured children from the web
immediately! Do not perpetuate the problem by circulating these horrific photos
any further.
Nothing happened to these people as children. It is the medium itself that is the problem. It has not happened until it has been seen through an electronic medium. The medium is the message!
