Music to match, with West Side Story mash-ups, Bebe took the girl from a party to school, with pleated skirts worn under oversized letterman jackets and varsity sweaters. Throw in outdated graphics and gold motorcycle jackets this is one mash-up you don’t want to see.
Overall, Bebe did what they do best and what is expected. They provide the 18 year old girls who tear up the city with promoters twice their age a dress for a night of underage drinking at various clubs. The show ended with a succession of cobalt, poppy, mustard, and black cocktail dresses with the most bizarre ruffle embellishments I have ever witnessed on a frock.They do however, also provide a few pieces that should be part of someone’s wardrobe, the jackets (yes to a leather trench), the skirts (they are rather adorable) and the accessories are perfectly executed for the fall season. The show was like the store, you have to really go in there and find that piece that won’t make you look like a teenager trying to sneak into a club, and it just takes a little bit of effort and time.
