Sydney backpackers turn streets into sewer.

When tourists don’t know how to behave themselves.

For anyone who has ever been to Sydney, Australia, we can firmly attest it is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Or rather we should say it used to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world until hordes of back packers descended into the inner city and have turned tree lined streets into sewer congregation meeting points. News.com.au offers us more:

BACKPACKERS are clogging busy streets and making themselves at home on the footpaths while they wait up to six weeks to sell their vans.

The budget travellers, from mostly Europe, are also accused of using gutters as toilets.

Residents and business owners are so sick of the mess they have demanded authorities take action.

Angela Gallo, whose Sydney cafe is near where the backpackers congregate, said: “They sit outside our cafe with their gas burners and chairs, cooking meals sometimes for eight people and make a mess of the footpath.

That’s right, backpackers are now living in their vans and guzzling their excess trash out the window and onto the streets. The perfect tourist you think. In any event we think a good poke to the head might do the trick, we think Ms Angela Gallo might agree.
