Tia: Well, I think they captured on something brilliant. People like seeing themselves and others at social engagements. It’s become a kind of social validation these days to appear on Guest of a Guest.

SCV: It’s true. Would you agree that they see themselves as the next Gawker?

Tia: I think they would enjoy being as big as Gawker but probably without all the name calling. I think they’ll end up becoming a holding company of a lot of smaller different types of blogs.

SCV: This implies an eventual capitulation in the industry.

Tia: It’s not by no means a lucrative business unless you really make it to the top, get your readership hits and advertising dollars. That said I think blogging has opened a lot of corridors for me. It’s a wonderful platform to other ventures.

SCV: Which in your case include?

Tia: Becoming a TV host. And in your case?

SCV: A full time scallywag.

(laughter on both ends- pause)

Literary novelist would be bearable…

Tia: I think it’s amazing as an independent blogger, especially one with wide exposure one gets a lot of leeway into meeting a particular sect of society, introductions to philanthropists, producers, artists, compelling club, restaurant owners, exceptionable individuals.

SCV: As long as one remains exceptional themselves?

Tia: Yes, I think so.

SCV: An absolute delight to have caught up with you. I guess I’ll be seeing you on the next venture out?

Tia: But you promise to say hello this time?

SCV: Yes, Ms. Walker, I’ll promise to say hello…
