No breakthrough as Nancy Guthrie whereabouts continues to remain mystery
Around the same time, the driver of the Range Rover SUV was pulled over.
FBI agents were filmed investigating the contents of the car’s trunk, which had been obscured from photographers’ view with a sheet.
The SUV was later towed away. No further detail has been shared on why the house and car was targeted.
Pima County Sheriff’s Office issued a statement late Friday saying the raid on the house was linked to the disappearance of Guthrie.
They said they would issue more information in the early hours of Saturday morning, then said they had been asked not to do so by the FBI.
The setback comes on day 14 for the search of the missing matriarch who according to her family had a serious heart condition which requires daily medication. Nancy Guthrie’s whereabouts remained unknown, including whether the mom was still alive.
