Sydne Graf, Kentucky 5th grade teacher with Jefferson County Public Schools arrested soliciting sex via electronic means to student victim under 12 years old attending Smyrna Elementary School.
A Kentucky fifth grade teacher appearing in court on Friday, pleaded not guilty to having ‘sexual conversations’ with one of her under 12 year old students.
Sydne Graf, 36, an elementary teacher with the Jefferson County Public Schools District is alleged to have ‘engaged in sexual conversations,’ via electronic means with one of her students at Smyrna Elementary School, where she works as a fifth grade teacher.
Upon notice of the alleged electronic communications, Graf was charged with procuring or promoting the use of electronic means to induce a minor to engage in sexual activity, which is a felony.
Possible exploitation of student minor
Louisville Metro Police Detectives, (LMPD) detectives reviewed the alleged conversations between Graf and the student, which included discussions of oral sodomy with the student victim. According to police, Graf planned to meet up with the student later but was arrested while picking him up near his home, WDRB reported.
The female educator’s arrest comes after Graf allegedly engaging inappropriately with a student during a Non-Traditional Instruction day (NTI) in December, WHAS11 reported.
The incident led to Jefferson County Public Schools police contacting Louisville Metro Police regarding a possible exploitation of a student.
Screenshots and video recordings of the conversations included discussions about oral sex, according to Graf’s arrest citation.
Graf made plans to meet the student on Monday, December 15th and police arrested her while she was picking up the student, near the boy’s home, the citation showed.

Police said the victim was younger than 12 years old.
According to her citation, when officers searched Graf’s vehicle they found a pill container with several compartments. The container was located inside her purse and contained several pills of what investigators believed to be hydrocodone and Adderall.
Hydrocodone is a potent prescription opioid medication used to treat moderate to severe pain. Adderall is a prescription central nervous system (CNS) stimulant medication containing a combination of amphetamine and dextroamphetamine.
Jefferson County Public Schools Police (JCPS) said Graf will be reassigned to a position that won’t allow her to have contact with students during this investigation.
Bond was set at $100,000.
