Rebecca Park sister and fiancee appear in court where on respective charges, including tampering of evidence & false reporting for Kimberly Park along with fiancee, Richard Falor booked on drugs charges as a habitual offender.
Two relatives connected to a 39 week pregnant woman found dead in a Michigan forest appeared in court on Wednesday where they faced charges.
The court arraignment comes just one day after the body of Rebecca Kay Parks, 22, was found in the Manistee National Forest, in Boon Township on November 25.
During a Nov. 26 arraignment at the Wexford County Courthouse, Kimberly Sue Park, Rebecca’s sister, was charged with one count of tampering with evidence, one count of filing a false report of a felony and one count of lying to a peace officer during a violent crime investigation.

Park’s bond has been set at $750,000, 9and10 reported.
- The first count, tampering with evidence, is a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison and/or a $20,000 fine.
- The second count, lying to a police officer, is punishable by up to four years in prison and/or a $5,000 fine.
- The third count, filing a false report of a felony, is a misdemeanor punishable by up to four years in prison and/or a $2,000 fine.
Park has been deemed a threat to the community and a flight risk, according to the court, UpNorthLive reported.
As of the Nov. 26 arraignment, Kimberly Park’s charges have not been directly connected to the death of the 22 year old pregnant woman. Rebecca Kay’s cause and manner of death is pending an autopsy. It remained unclear, despite rampant online speculation, if the pregnant woman was murdered after her mother reported her missing on November 4.
Rebecca Park fiancee faces potential life sentence
Rebecca Park’s fiancee, Richard Lee Falor also appearing in court on Wednesday where he was charged on two counts of delivery/manufacture of a controlled substance and a fourth offense notice as a habitual offender. Bond was set at on $1,000,000 bond, 9and10 reported.
Falor is facing a potential life sentence after being charged with two counts of delivering methamphetamine, UpNorthLive reported.
Each count carries a penalty of up to 20 years in prison and a $25,000 fine.
As a habitual offender with three previous attempted or completed felonies, Falor’s charges could lead to a life sentence.
The judged ordered a $1 million cash bond, citing Falor as a threat and flight risk. If released on bond, he will be placed under GPS house arrest.
Richard Falor’s charges have not been directly connected to the the death of Rebecca Park.
Of note, Falor is currently listed on the Michigan Sex Offender Registry as non-compliant.
Rebecca was last seen November 3 getting into a vehicle. She was about 38 weeks pregnant at the time. An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon to determine the cause of death.
