She couldn’t help herself …. A volunteer color guard instructor within the Forest Mississippi School District was arrested for sending nude photos of herself to a student in Forest, Mississippi.
Nichole Lara, 22, was arrested and charged on November 6 for sexual battery, grooming, and child exploitation.
A release from the Forest Police Department stated that a victim, a male student, reported to officials that he had received inappropriate messages from Lara through Snapchat and later nude photos.

The incident, according to witness statements, began at a band camp in July, WLBT reported.
‘The Forest Police Department is committed to protecting students and holding all parties accountable,’ said Forest Police Chief Steven Bell according to WJTV.
The asks of a volunteer color guard instructor include helping train and guide a color guard team (often part of a marching band, drum corps, winter guard, or ROTC/JROTC group). Even though the role is unpaid, it’s usually highly involved and ‘hands-on’.
The Forest Police Department are coordinating with the Mississippi Department of Education (MDE) along with other agencies in the case. Parents with information can contact the Forest Police Department at 601-469-4141.
