The woman, later identified as Eads was transported to an area hospital, where she was pronounced dead according to the release.
WESH reports that Eads was a mother of four and that other family members were home at the time of the shooting. Prior to the shooting, the father had gone to pick up one of his daughters from school before — according to the siblings — the father stopping off at a liquor store and proceeding to drink and drive.

Upon arriving at the family residence, Bryant noticed Eads sitting on the front porch and proceeded to follow her as she got up and began making her way to the bathroom, and firing off multiple gunshots.
When the father returned to the front of the house, his daughters, according to the affidavit, asked, ‘What’s going on,’ only for their father to shrug and say, ‘nothing.’
The father fled the scene before his arrested shortly after.
