California authorities have identified the individual shot and killed in Orange Cove on Thanksgiving Day as a 43 year old Fresno County woman,.
Carolina Godinez was identified as the shooting victim according to the Fresno County Coroner’s Office, ABC30 reported.
The shooting happened just before 2 pm, November 27 outside a home on 9th and J streets.
No known murder motive or suspect announced
When deputies arrived, they found Godinez with a gunshot wound. Despite life-saving efforts, the woman succumbed to her injuries. The 43-year-old woman was declared dead at the scene, YourCentralValley reported.
The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office is not releasing any details about a possible suspect or what led to the shooting. The suspect remains unknown.
