A Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania woman faces several charges after allegedly getting two young boys drunk, attempting to sexually assault them after having originally paid the boys $5 to shovel snow from her walkway before inviting them inside for ‘hot chocolate.’
Rochelle Stewart, 64, of Windgap, was booked on January 8 after the woman called police to say she was being robbed after her victims had returned to the woman’s home to retrieve a coat left at her residence.
Responding police found the two boys, ages 12 and 13 at the home, who were reported to be in a drunken stupor with the boys telling officers they had been at the home earlier after Stewart paid them to shovel snow before then inviting them inside.
Corruption and sexually preying on minors
After serving the boys hot chocolate, the two boys allege being plied with alcohol, including wine and vodka, before Stewart at some point inappropriately touching the boys and putting her legs over one of the victims.
Stewart denied the boy’s allegations only to be presented with cellphone video one of the boys had earlier taken video of the attempted sexual assault along with cops finding half an empty bottle of vodka inside the home, WPXI reported.
Stewart was arrested and taken to Allegheny County Jail after being charged with six misdemeanors — one count of indecent assault, one count of making a false police report, and two counts each of giving minors alcohol and corruption of minors. Court records stated that she made 10% of her $1,000 bail and was released from custody on Thursday.
Her next court date is a preliminary hearing on Jan. 22.
