A popular social media influencer has died after she was killed in a car accident en route to hospital to give birth to her third child, a baby girl.
Neto Marie, 25, also known as Neto Raw was pregnant with her third child and was on the way to hospital to deliver only to be killed along with her unborn child in a car accident in Greenville, South Carolina according to shared social media posts
The expectant mom’s death came just hours after posting on Facebook on Monday morning, January 6th in which Neto indicated she was ready to deliver.
‘My Last Bump Pic…’
‘My last bump pic,’ she captioned two photos of herself showing off her full-term baby bump.
‘In a tragïc incident, Neto Marie shared a picture yesterday, captioning it “My Last Bump Pic” as she prepared to head to the hospital to give birth. Unfortunately, she was involved in a car accïdent on her way there, which led to her passing,’ the Irvin Texas based KESA magazine reported.
News of Neto’s passing led to shock amongst friends and family.
‘Please just send prayers up for Neto Marie family. Yes, her and the baby both didn’t make it,’ one family friend shared on Facebook, confirming the news but saying little about the cause.
Another friend wrote that she had gone to the hospital to wait for Marie to arrive for her delivery only for her to never arrive. ‘I got to the hospital early to surprise you and help you with your content. Kept asking for you and we couldn’t find you, kept waiting and you never walked thru that door,’ said Javion Woods.
Cause and fault of car accident yet to be determined
Adding, ‘We were so excited, you were so ready! I was so ready! I’m so grateful you chose me as your doula, and free Life Coach

The tragedy comes just weeks after Marie and her partner, Avery, celebrated the upcoming arrival of their baby during a baby shower held in the second week of December 2024.
The cause and fault of the accident had yet to be elaborated. Marie leaves behind two young infant children.
