Jeremy Allen East Quogue, Long Island man kills Christopher Hahn, drinking buddy during heavy night of drinking. Calls handyman to clean up mess.
A Long Island man has been accused of murdering his friend at an East Quogue residence and leaving the man’s body in the back yard for his ‘handyman’ to clean up according to Suffolk County police.
Jeremy Allen, 43, who has a pending sexual abuse case was arrested Saturday morning when cops found the pummeled and stabbed body of his friend, Christopher Hahn, 43, stashed under a tarp on the suspect’s back patio following a night of heavy drinking, Newsday reported.
Authorities said Allen and Hahn of Hampton Bays, were discussing their next 12-step program when they got into a heated dispute, leading to Allen allegedly beating Hahn before stabbing him in the head and killing him, prosecutors said during a Sunday morning arraignment.
Investigators said Southampton Town Police responded to a 911 call reporting a man found dead at 9:52 a.m. in the rear yard of the Oakville Avenue home, where Allen was the sole occupant. https://t.co/XNGYN83bOS

Seasoned drunk
Suffolk County prosecutor Elana Tomaro said Allen then texted his handyman to ‘clean up the mess,’ after murdering his drinking buddy.
Tomato during proceedings told Southampton Town Justice Adam Grossman that video of the ‘vicious attack’ existed and that it was ‘brutal and heinous to watch.’
Hahn and Allen — who has been charged with drunken driving several times since 2007, were downing drinks when they got into ‘an altercation that grew more violent,’ Allen’s lawyer said in court.
An enraged Allen allegedly beat Hahn for as long as six hours before prosecutors said he pulled out ‘a large knife’ and stabbed his friend ‘in the head and neck,’ Newsday reported.
Fro there, Allen is alleged to have then texted a handyman from the area and asked him to help clean up the house.
Pending sex abuse case
When the handyman saw the bloodied body, he allegedly told Allen he had to go buy some bleach to do the job only to instead call Southampton Town Police, who arrived at the scene just before 10 a.m.
Hahn was pronounced dead at the scene, and Allen arrested about an hour after the body was found.
He was arraigned Sunday and ordered held without bail.
He now faces a charge of second-degree murder and tampering with physical evidence, patch reported.
But there’s more.
Allen also has a pending rape case in Southampton and is still on probation for a 2022 conviction for drunken driving in Ulster County, according to Newsday.
It remained unclear how the repeat offender and now alleged sex assaulter was out on probation.
