A West Virginia pre-k teacher has been arrested on child exploitation charges.
Savanna Grace Humphreys, 31, of Sissonville, of West Va., was arrested Wednesday afternoon on charges of sexual abuse, filming sexually explicit conduct of a minor, distribution of child p**nography an possession of illicit child material, according to a criminal complaint filed to Kanawha County Magistrate Court.
The complaint said investigators received a tip and were provided information that included images belonging to Humphreys dating back to July 2024 featuring a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct according to WCHS-TV.

Authorities have not released additional information regarding the circumstances of the investigation, the evidence involved, or the identity of any alleged victims. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
Prior to her arrest, Humphreys was employed by Kanawha County Schools and most recently worked as a pre-kindergarten teacher’s aide.
A regard of the pre-K teacher’s social profile shows her to be married and a mom to two young children.
Humphreys remains held at South Central Regional Jail on a cash-only bond of $100,000.
