‘I’m fixin’ to kill her….’ A Florida woman has been accused of setting a 100-pound Rottweiler on her boyfriend’s nine-year-old daughter and repeatedly striking the girl, who died of her horrific injuries earlier this year.
Tyshael Elise Martin, 34, was seen on the family’s security cameras instructing the 103-pound dog to attack Jamaria Sessions on June 15, Fox51 reported.
Martin was arrested near her home in Montverde, FL Wednesday early evening. The Lake County Sheriff’s Office said Martin now faces charges of first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse, and child neglect.
‘I’m fixin’ to kill her,’
The girlfriend’s arrest follows cops launching an investigation on June 17 following a 911 call about Jamaria being unresponsive at the home on Harbar Oaks Drive.
Medics responded to the scene to find the girl with abrasions, bruises, burns, and suspected bite marks.
Detectives searched the family’s security cameras and found footage from the night of June 15.
The dog was seen viciously attacking Jamaria while Martin held its leash and seemingly directing the assault against the girl.
Surveillance tape also captured Martin repeatedly kicking the girl as she lay motionless on the floor, detectives said.
Video also showed Martin dragging Jamaria’s unconscious body across the ground before hitting and shaking her, while possibly saying ‘I’m fixin’ to kill her,’ authorities said.

Boyfriend’s involvement and no known motive
Investigators also uncovered through interviews and text messages that the child was frequently subjected to horrific methods of punishment, including being forced to carry out extended wall sits, running in place with her arms raised, as well as being hit with objects, kicked, and punched, ClickOrlando reported.
Jamaria’s autopsy results indicated her cause of death was complications from multiple blunt injuries to the head, torso, and extremities, as well the 9 year old being burned on her foot when Martin used boiling water on the girl’s hair.
Martin is being held without bond at Lake County Jail. She made her first court appearance on Thursday.
In a fundraiser to cover her funeral costs, Jamaria’s maternal family described her as a ‘bright and beautiful nine-year-old girl’ who left behind a five-year-old sister.
They said the girls had been living with their father, Lojuan Sessions, since October 2023, after the death of their mother from leukemia at age 24. They had previously been living with their grandmother.
‘Despite our efforts to be a part of their lives and provide them with the love and support they need, we have been met with insurmountable barriers,’ the family wrote.
Lojuan Sessions had served a five-year prison sentence for two counts of child neglect, trafficking in MDMA and fleeing and eluding, until his release in August 2023, the girls’ uncle told Inside Lake.
To date, authorities have not earmarked the boyfriend as a suspect in the ongoing child abuse. Nevertheless it remained unclear how the boyfriend was unaware of the ongoing injuries and abuse his daughter was being subjected to and why he failed to put a stop to it.
