Donald Trump sniper, Thomas Matthew Crooks wore T-shirt that promoted gun YouTube channel, Demolition Ranch as circulated images on social media show assassin suspect was gun advocate. Founder, Matt Carriker left dumbfounded. 

Photos of the body of alleged Donald Trump sniper shooter, appeared to show the gunman wearing merchandise promoting one of YouTube’s most popular channels devoted to firearms.

Images verified by NBC News show the gunman and would be Trump assassin, Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, lying on a roof bleeding from the head, surrounded by law enforcement officers. Close up images show Thomas Crooks wearing a gray T-shirt with an American flag on the sleeve with block lettering that is partly obscured.

The appearance and lettering of the shirt match the appearance of a shirt that is still for sale on the website for the firearms YouTube channel Demolition Ranch.

Demolition Ranch founder dumbfounded 

After the photos and speculation began to circulate online Saturday evening, Demolition Ranch and its founder Matt Carriker, posted to social media, sharing the photos and writing, ‘What the hell.’

Demolition Ranch has over 11 million subscribers on YouTube, where the channel frequently posts videos about various types of firearms. It is part of a large network of YouTube channels devoted to celebrating and testing out guns along with explosive devices. 

Carriker, a veterinarian by trade, started the Demolition Ranch channel as a hobby in 2011. Initially a small channel for firearm enthusiasts, the channel has grown exponentially since its inception, now attracting over 11 million subscribers and billions of views.

Demolition Ranch celebrated gun culture

The channel is known for its high-energy content, including unconventional experiments, demonstrations, gun reviews, and educational content on firearms safety and handling.

According to the Demolition Ranch merchandise website, Carriker now has a net worth of $4.3 million, including real estate investment. His estimated yearly income is $445,000 to $504,000, Newsweek reported.

The YouTube channel did not immediately respond to a request to media overtures for comment.
