Just one more lap dance… A Miami stripper has been arrested after allegedly plying a client with tequila during a raunchy lap dance while covertly funneling over $60,000 from the unwitting man’s bank accounts.
Yannelin Rivera-Bosaw, 34, was one of several women who performed lap dances for the victim in a private VIP room at Playmates last Friday, Miami cops said.
The strippers, claiming it was on the house, relentlessly supplied him with tequila shots, (‘Hooray look at me mom!) until he became so drunk he couldn’t stand up to leave, Local 10 reported.
As her colleagues gyrated at close quarters to keep the victim distracted, Rivera-Bosaw allegedly stole the man’s cellphone and wallet before using his credit card and PayPal information to steal $62,000.
Stripper insists client authorized withdrawals….
After a fantastic evening of partying (‘Hey look at me!), the unwitting victim was finally able to make his way out of the Florida hotspot at around 4am.
It was soon after that the un-named man noticed six unauthorized PayPal withdrawals to an unknown person, along with an unfamiliar flurry of charges to his Chase, Wells Fargo and American Express cards.
The withdrawals and charges amounted to a total of $62,345.
The victim later realized that Rivera-Bosaw had entered her number into his device in order to send herself payments, and called police.
She told detectives that she initiated the transactions, while claiming that the victim authorized them.
Skeptical investigators found texts she sent to her husband and a friend complaining that the man had canceled one of her PayPal transfers.
Rivera-Bosaw upon her arrest earlier this week was booked on a series of fraud charges.
Police also found evidence on her phone that she was selling illegal growth hormone and steroids to clients from her strip club.
According to the club’s website, Playmates is ‘the best strip club in Coral Gables’, around 7 miles outside the Miami city center.
The establishment promises that its ‘warm and hospitable staff is sure to accommodate your every need’, while its VIP service will provide an ‘unforgettable night’. And then some.
