A Texas trucker and ‘crazed fan’ who killed a Seattle podcaster and her husband in their home last night had been harassing her for 18 months according to court records.

Zohreh Sadeghi, 33, a self-styled ‘techie’, and her husband, Amazon software engineer, Mohammed Naseri, 35, were shot and killed by Ramin Khodakaramrezaei, 38, last night in her home in Redmond, Washington

Reports told of the obsessed fan climbing through a window at the couple’s home at 2am and shooting the pair, then himself. Sadeghi’s mother was able to escape to a neighbor’s home and call 911, KING 5 reported.

When police arrived, they found Naseri lying on the front lawn with a gunshot wound to the chest, according to the outlet. They gave him CPR but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say Khodakaramrezaei first found his victim through a podcast about finding work in tech and became so obsessed with her that she filed a ‘no-contact restraining order’ against the man, KOMO News reported

A friendship that turned obsessive

Court records obtained by DailyMail.com describe how the pair met in person in 2022, and how Sadeghi hid some of their interactions from her husband as they formed a ‘friendship’.

The interactions turned sinister and resulted in the Seattle based podcaster pleading with the man to leave her alone.

Sadeghi went on to block the man on WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram and on her phone’s call application only for the ‘crazed’ man once again contacting Naseri, as recently as February 2023.

On February 22, just weeks before the killing, records cited by the Seattle Times show Khodakaramrezaei having sent Naseri 82 texts on Telegram, with the podcaster telling police the man having once called her more than 100 times in a day.

Stated a petition Sadeghi filed just last month: ‘He has bursts of anger and is completely delusional.

‘These delusions make me fear for my life and the lives of my loved ones.’

Sadeghi told police how Khodakaramrezaei had shown up at their home uninvited, delivering flowers and even once promised to send a musical band to play outside.

Seattle podcaster listed long litany of complaints in restraining order

‘He contacted my husband and continues to do so. He has come to my neighborhood several times, staying at inns around my neighborhood, he has parked down my street in hopes of seeing me.

‘I am suffering a deep-seated fear for my safety,’ she said.

Sadeghi included call logs demonstrating how frequently her stalker phoned her and left messages, and told police how Khodakaramrezaei would sometimes park down the street in the hope of catching a glimpse of her.

The obsessed man would stay in local inns near the property.

Redmond Police Chief Darrell Lowe said that Sadeghi contacted the married couple in December 2022, saying Khodakaramrezaei’s interest ‘intensified.’

This led to a temporary order of protection being signed against Khodakaramrezaei on March 3, with a hearing scheduled for two weeks later.

Stalker could not be located to have arrest warrant served

Khodakaramrezaei at the time was also charged with two counts of telephone harassment and one count of stalking. A bench warrant was issued with bail set at $100,000.

Redmond Police could not confirm whether Khodakaramrezaei had a criminal background, or whether he legally obtained his weapon. Khodakaramrezaei was understood to be divorced with a child.

Police said the man started tuning in to Sadeghi’s podcast several months ago, before barraging her with messages.

Sadeghi had contacted police and authorities were preparing to serve Khodakaramrezaei with the restraining order, but were having trouble locating him.
