Amy Moffat and Stephen Graham a newly married Mormon, Utah couple are killed while driving on their way to their honeymoon.

Tragedy has come to the fore with the revelation of a Utah newlywed couple both being killed while on their way to their honeymoon. The couples’ death followed the new bride reportedly falling asleep at the wheel.

Killed were Amy Moffat, 28 of Provo and Stephen C. Graham, of Riverton, 30.

The Utah Daily Herald reported husband and wife having married about two weeks before Sunday’s August 26, fatal crash in Washington state circa 7.30pm local time.

Despite both Moffatt and Graham wearing seatbelts, the couple were declared dead at the scene.

Officials believe Moffat fell asleep while driving the Ford F150 pick-up truck about 6 miles east of the city of Prosser.

The vehicle then drifted to the left and upon Moffat overcorrecting, caused the vehicle to roll according to police reports.

Relatives told of the couple heading to the town of Whistler in British Columbia for their honeymoon before they were killed.

A regard of social media revealed Moffatt working as a nutritionist and running her own business, Nourish Family Nutrition, which was based in Boise, Idaho.

Social media revealed Graham, hailing from Taylorsvilleworking as a photographer and videographer for Deity Components, a company that sells off road biking gear.

The couple were active Mormons, with Moffats’ Facebook page revealing she was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

This weekend I felt like the luckiest girl in the world. I haven’t had the chance to share a lot of the details of Stephen and my engagement. For a few reasons, Stephen and I decided to be married in an intimate civil ceremony with our immediate families, just beneath the peaks of Utah’s Wasatch mountains. Beside a babbling mountain creek, Stephen and I, in awe and disbelief, united our lives together and became husband and wife. I can’t tell you how much I love this man. I’ve never felt more loved, or have been treated more like a queen, than by anyone else in my life. Stephen is more than I could’ve ever asked for in a partner, in a lover, in a best friend. For now our marriage is until death do us part. But soon enough we can go to a temple of God and have our marriage sealed for eternity. I can’t wait for that day❤️. Stephen, I feel like the luckiest girl alive. Thank you for each and every crazy, beautiful, and crazy beautiful moment we have shared up until this point. I can’t wait to see what adventures lie ahead of us. Photo: the dream team—@brandwild @amymoffat_ntp & @sgbiker464
