Told the cat’s owner, Perla via NBC4, ‘I just want him to know he hurt a victim that can’t defend itself.’
Spots was once a stray, before being found a few months ago according to the cat’s owner.

Charles Arechiga Ontario, California teen: A history of violence?
Offered local neighbor, Oscar Ramos via CBSLA, ‘He hangs around here in the alley all the time,’
Adding, ‘They think they’re cool. He probably did it just to look cool on video.’
A report via everipedia noted the youth attending AB Miller High School where he is currently a senior. It wasn’t clear if the student had prior run ins at school?
Not necessarily understood is what led to the teen electing to abuse the defenseless animal and whether Arechiga thought he was just being ‘funny’ or ‘having some fun’?
Animal abuse and cruelty in young children and teens according to one study cited by huffpo, is often the beginning of most violent offenders’ criminal legacy—particularly rapists, serial killers, and domestic abusers.
