15 year old Russian teens livestream police shoot out: Two teens televise their final hours after refusing to surrender to cops after a domestic altercation

Two fifteen year old Russian youths, a boy and a girl streamlined themselves in a shootout with police before fatally turning their guns on themselves.

The spectacle, since uploaded on youtube (see below) was at the time live streamed via social media app, Periscope as well as Instagram.

Cops told of finding the bodies of two 15 year old schoolchildren inside a house in the northwestern Russian region of Pskov after the stand-off.

Local media reported the shootout came after the 15 year old boy in the video, Denis Muravyov shot the mother of the teen girl in the video in the leg during a row about attending a sleepover. From there the teens fled to a close by abandoned home with a cache of weapons.

The ensuing stand-off was filmed as police surrounded the house the two teens were holed in, with the teens filming themselves firing off volley of gunshots on the street to police, the teen girl’s mother barred from the family home.

Other filmed instances included the youths speaking to each other, in some instances appearing to be laughing, while in another eerie instance, the teen girl, Katya is observed holding a gun to Denis’ head.

In another instance the teens who feared spending decades in jail if caught are heard saying, ‘Russians do not surrender.’

It is believed the stand-off came after the two teens who had been seeing each other for at least six months ran into headwinds during their relationship.

Investigators said police were called to the house in the village of Krasniye Strugi as part of the search for a missing teenager, only for a police car to come under gunfire.

Katya said in the footage posted on Periscope that there were guns in the house because her stepfather is ‘in the special forces’.

Intimating discord and what appears family reticence in the teen’s relationship, Denis had taken to Russian social media site VK during the stand-off where he told of his despair.

Wrote the boy: ‘I loved you, but you do not notice how you destroyed my mind and life.

‘Goodbye all, friends and family, and acquaintances.

‘Do not worry, I will go out in style.

‘Good luck to all in your life and please do not be afraid to live as you want or you see fit. Life is for fun – this is the best life.

‘I love you.’

In one chilling moment televised on Periscope, Katya is seen telling her boyfriend, ‘We have zero options.’

Responded the boyfriend: ‘If we don’t surrender, we die. But if we surrender, we will never see each other again.’

Despite special police spending hours negotiating and eventually storming the house using stun grenades, authorities told of finding the teens had mortally shot themselves.

The discovery of the teen’s deaths led to the National Guard special forces releasing a statement via the TASS news agency where they told of finding ‘the bodies of a girl and a young man with clear signs of suicide’. The communique stressed the agency not opening fire.

Reiterated Russian children’s ombudswoman Anna Kuznetsova: ‘This is a terrible tragedy. We’re looking into the circumstances and the details of what happened.’

Wrote Dennis Muravyov in his final social media post before his and Katya’s suicide: ‘Goodbye. Do not worry, I leave your life in style.’

In the days ahead the parents of Katya and Denis are expected to be interviewed as efforts are made to understand what led to the youths dramatically electing to embroil themselves in a shoot out before taking their own lives….
