Convicted man
Convicted man Nikolay Jumagaliev has set fear in one Kazakhstan city after the convicted cannibal killer named Metal Fang on account of his white metal teeth escaped from a secure psychiatric facility and is now on the run.
Concerns of the 63 year old man’s whereabouts, who was convicted in 1981 after killing and eating up to 7-10 women has left locals in deep inertia after reports of the recent disappearance of a 22 year old woman, Saida Akzhanova believed to be the cannibal’s latest victim.
Unsettling townspeople are initial claims by officials that Metal Fang was still in captivity at the time of the 22 year old’s disappearance on New Year’s eve, who have now been forced to rebuff claims that the notorious cannibal had in fact escaped from a mental asylum on December 23.
Further stoking fears are purported claims that residents from the town of Almaty have made sightings of Nikolay Jumagaliev. This despite the local police force’s refusal to confirm Metal Fang’s escape according to a report via the UK’s sun.
Offered a police spokesperson: ‘We do not have information about the escape of the man and have no orders to catch him. This information is confusing.’
During criminal proceedings after the Kazakhstan cannibal’s capture in the 1980’s, Nikolay Jumagaliev shocked an entire nation when he confessed to his first killing, telling: ‘I always loved to hunt, often went hunting, but this was my first time hunting a woman.’
‘She resisted, and then I cut her throat with a knife. Then I drank her blood.’
Added the killer: ‘I cut the corpse’s breast into strips, removed the ovaries, and separated the pelvis and hips. I then folded these pieces into a backpack and carried them home.
‘I melted the fat to fry with, and some parts I pickled.
‘Once I put the parts through a meat grinder and made dumplings.
‘I saved the meat for myself; I never served it to anyone else.
‘Twice I grilled the heart and the kidneys. Grilled meat, too. But it was tough, and I cooked it for a long time in its own fat.
‘The meat of this woman took me a month to eat.’
Metal Fang’s purported escape comes after the man reportedly escaped in 1989 whilst being transported from one secure hospital to another.
It would be two years before the Kazakhstan cannibal Metal Fang was recaptured.
