Gather round and grab your popcorn. Let’s see how Kris get’s the KKK, the Armenian ones, sillies, out of this one. Sorry, it’s not naked photos or sex tapes this time. This time there is $75 million dollars at stake.
Kim, Kourtney, and Phony Khloe, along with their mother Kris Jenner, and their company Dash Dolls are being sued for $75 million dollars after backing out of a ‘draconian’ prepaid credit card scam deal called the Kardashian Prepaid MasterCard with Revenue Resource Group.
MSNBC : Upon its launch in November, the Kardashian Prepaid MasterCard was immediately criticized for harboring hefty hidden fees to activate, replace, etc. Consumers Union, which publishes Consumer Reports, dissed the card, and the Connecticut Attorney General’s Office demanded further disclosure from card issuer University National Bank, accusing the Kardashians of “marketing a dangerous financial fantasty.”
Yes, MSNBC did print the word ‘fantasty.’
Alas, the complaint filed by Revenue Resource Group in Fresno, states that the Kardashians had a two year contract and they’re now stuck with the losses and consequences of the sister’s split from the unsavory deal; a deal which could reportedly cost up to $99.95 to purchase, $7.95 per month to use after the first year, $6 for customer service calls and up to $500 in penalties for lost cards.
Sorry, media whores girls, maybe this time you’ve learned your lesson. You may have been able to conquer every other facet of the free world, but when it comes to finance and our current economy, even Kim’s bodacious behind can’t shake its way out of this disaster.
Don’t you wish you had a mastercard with your shiny face on it too…?
The free world, but when it comes to finance and our current economy,
even Kim’s bodacious behind can’t shake its way out of this disaster.
